Ring of the Mountain King gamejam complete!

After two weeks of work, my second gamejam is finally done:
Ring of the Mountain King - submission for Pirate Software Gamejam 16 - You are the weapon

I've been wanting to make a dwarf game for a while, and this theme was perfect for one of my ideas: a fantasy punch out style game! Fighting monsters instead of humans gives some fun design space for interesting encounters, and I get to have fun with monster designs and animations.

The demo contains two fights: the goblin and the zombie! Goblin is supposed to be an easy intro fight to get familiar with the buttons and basic enemy concepts like blocking, directional attacks and supers/ohko moves. Since there's only two fights, the goblin is most likely a bit harder here than a supposed full game.
The Zombie fight introduces the first unique monster spin: the zombie has near endless armour, so you have to be careful with your offense! As tradeoff, the zombie rarely dodges and doesn't block anything, so after you get used to his attacks he's a pretty easy fight.

Hardest part of the project was definitely the music, but at the same time I feel like I learned a lot.
